• Education and Training Page - links to local and national training, professional development, and education resources, including VCGI's own very introductory course offered in the summer.
• Web Mapping: The New Geography - June 2, 2008 - a day-long conference exploring the expanding world of mapping on the web from topics of interest to novices to expert GIS professionals.
• GIS Day - in VT and around the country in November each year. Various events such as open houses and displays and presentations happen around VT. See the VT GIS Day website for a listing of this year's events as November approaches or click here to visit the International GIS Day web page.
  
• VSDP Roundtables - biannual (January and July) conferences that provide GIS professionals and novices with an opportunity to share what projects they are working on, learn about new technology, and network.
• NEARC - the Northeast Arc Users Group holds an annual conference in the fall. The conference moves from state to state each year; visit the web site for more information.
  
• NEGIS - the New England GIS conference is vendor neutral and takes place in Boxborough, MA every two years. Visit the web site to learn more about it.
