The GIS community in Vermont is committed and eager to share data and knowledge. There are a variety of events and communication media that help to facilitate this exchange throughout the year. Other resources in the VT GIS community include Regional Planning Commissions (RPC) and Private Consultants (this is a PDF document). Each RPC has a GIS specialist available to answer your questions about locally specific data and using GIS. VCGI maintains a list of GIS consultants who can help you with any stage of a project from data collection to analysis to mapping.
