The Vermont Center for Geographic Information, Inc., hereinafter referred to as “VCGI”, requests proposals from qualified professionals for marketing and public relations support for Vermont’s Broadband Mapping Initiative. The goal is to develop a robust outreach strategy oriented toward gaining cooperation from broadband providers and increasing public awareness of the effort. VCGI wants to establish a relationship that emphasizes shared goals, open communication, professionalism, and an awareness of the opportunities the VT Broadband Mapping Project can afford. VCGI is seeking professional consulting services to help us articulate a clear message outlining the benefits broadband providers will gain by cooperating with the mapping effort, and develop a public relations strategy and materials that will convey the message to them. VCGI is also looking for services to help us communicate effectively with the general public, including effective messaging and media strategies.
